Bernardo Ramírez joined Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa on September 1994 and was admitted as partner in 2004. He has focused his professional practice on tax advice and consulting, providing services mainly to multinational companies investing in Mexico and to Mexican groups investing abroad. He has ample experience in advising clients engaged in infrastructure and energy projects as well as in the mining industry. 

In recent years, he has been involved in supporting clients in tax controversy issues, dealing directly with the tax authorities or through the mediation of the Mexican Tax Ombudsman.  

He has been a teacher of Mexican tax related subjects at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) where he was a faculty member during 5 years, the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) and the Universidad Panamericana (UP). He has published several tax related articles both in Mexico and abroad and is a frequent speaker in international tax events.
