María joined Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa in 2019 with the opening of the transactional area. She focuses her professional practice in corporate and transactional law, capital markets, with a specialty in advising clients and family offices on wealth management matters.
She has also advice to Mexican and foreign entities
regarding corporate restructures, including mergers, spin-offs, purchase and
sale of shares and assets, among others. She has also provided advise to
Mexican and foreign clients regarding financing structures with and without
collateral, in a comprehensive manner, including legal due diligence of
debtors, drafting of credit agreements, trust agreements, mortgages, pledges,
among others, negotiations with counterparties and accompaniment until the
closing of operations.
