Social Security and Local Contributions
Social Security is subject to such extensive and complex regulations, that when companies seek to optimize their human and material resources, they inevitably need to seek counsel and the pertinent legal defense.
Moreover, in recent years, tax and municipal contributions have gained a special relevance. The generation of new business areas at the local level and the need to increase tax revenues to cover government expenditures have led the tax authorities to constantly modify local tax legislation, while the professionalism of the tax authorities themselves has become enhanced.
At Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa, we are convinced of the importance of social commitments and of how carefully they must be handled to gain the most effectiveness in a companyís development and results. We have also observed that local contributions and the tax authorities in charge of them will continue to evolve and that they will hold a much more important role than the one they currently play in companies.
Through specialized consulting and advisory services, we work closely with our clients to solve the local social security and contribution matters they deal with on a daily basis.
Within the much broader scope of advising on social contributions, our social security area takes part in specific projects, such as corporate restructuring, mergers and spin-offs, the transfer and hiring of personnel and the treatment for special workers, such as those involved in sports or in the construction industry.
Concerning local contributions, we design strategic projects related to real estate and payrolls nationwide, as well as specific proposals for such areas as: public spectacles, games, raffles and contests, accommodations and the supply and release of water and registry rights, among others.
