Pere M. Pons joined Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa in 2018 as partner in charge of the Spanish and LATAM practices and as head the Madrid office of the firm. He worked in other prestigious firms in New York and Barcelona for over 21 years.

Pere specializes in international taxation, regularly advising on international investment structures in Spain and Latin America, as well as operations of hedge funds and private equity entities. He also advises on financing structures and Spanish investments abroad. Pere has extensive experience in real estate, distressed debt investments and tax consolidated groups. He regularly assists high net worth individuals and has advised on the regularization of off-shore investments and tax proceedings. Finally, he has advised government agencies on prevention of money laundering and foreign investment regulations.

He received the TTN-Network Award (2004) and a BNA Bloomberg certificate of excellence for his publications. He is a frequent speaker at legal conferences.
